What is Accessibly Yours?

Accessibly Yours is a full service hospitality certification focused in accessibility. We offer a directory of verified accessible businesses and events as well as a suite of services to make your business more accessible.

Does Accessibly Yours require in-person verification?

Evaluation doesn't have to be in-person, but each item of our checklist must be verified with proof. We believe that accessibility should be valued and verified. Our in-person and virtual audits ensure each space meets our established criteria—so when we say a place is accessible, you can count on it.

What makes a business or event “accessible” according to Accessibly Yours?

We evaluate each location using a comprehensive checklist based on ADA guidelines, universal design, and community feedback. Here are a few of the things we assess for certification. Contact us to learn more and get started!

How can I find verified accessible businesses?

Once our directory goes live, you’ll be able to browse or search for certified businesses near you by category, location, or accessibility features. Sign up for updates to be the first to know when it’s ready.

I own a business. How do I get certified?

Visit our Certify Your Business page to learn more and start the application process. We’ll conduct a thorough evaluation and, if your business qualifies, you’ll be added to our directory and receive a certification badge.

What happens if a business doesn’t meet all the qualifications?

Not every business will pass on the first visit but were here to help! We provide detailed feedback, resources, and a suite of services so you can make improvements and reapply when ready. Our goal is to help businesses grow more inclusive. If you need help funding improvements, we have resources available to mitigate the cost.

Does certification expire?

Yes. Certifications are valid for one year. Businesses must undergo annual re-evaluation to ensure they continue to meet our standards. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment—and we’re here to help businesses maintain it.

Is there a cost for certification?

Yes, there is a fee for the accessibility audit, which helps cover the time and expertise of our evaluators. However, we offer community sponsorship opportunities to ensure cost is not a barrier.

I attended an event or visited a business that wasn't accessible. What can I do?

If you encounter accessibility barriers at aevent or business, please reach out to us and let us know about your experience.

Can I support Accessibly Yours even if I don’t own a business?

Ask your favorite business if they are certified
Sponsor a business you love to help them get certified
Share Accessibly Yours with your network
Talk to your community spaces about accessibility and let them know about us
